During a recent interview with journalist Brooke McDonald at the Chicago Film Festival (via The Direct), Kathryn Hahn shared her excitement about working on the upcoming MCU series and revealed that they’re actually going to start filming “in about a month” which is sooner than what was previously reported. “It’s nothing I could have ever dreamed of, was to be asked to play a centuries-old witch that no one had ever heard of. And then all of a sudden, cut to a spin-off show, which is just like, ‘What?’ So, it’s very, very exciting. We’re in the middle of getting the Coven ready, and it’s going to be very delicious. I’m very excited for people to see that. We start shooting in about a month,” she said.

It is exciting to hear that the series will start filming soon since there are previous reports that claimed that they will begin early next year for a potential late 2023 or early 2024 release. We might be hearing more details in the coming weeks if they are indeed going to start filming next month. The premiere for the series is still being kept under wraps at the moment except that it will focus on Agatha Harkness. Recently, WandaVision cast member Emma Caulfield Ford revealed that she will also be returning to the series. Jac Schaeffer is also coming back to serve as the head writer.
