Just like any other new movies and TV shows that get released, a lot of fans are wondering whether Andor will deliver what fans are hoping for in terms of quality or it will end up being a disappointment, especially with the tepid responses to The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Now, we have our first reactions from the critics and journalists who have seen the first four episodes of Andor as the social media embargo has officially lifted. Based on the responses so far, it looks like the series is being widely-praised and some of them are claiming it as better, if not the best of them all, than the other live-action shows in the franchise. Some of the praises are towards its visuals, storytelling, cinematic quality, performances (particularly its lead Diego Luna), political undertones, and uniqueness from the other entries in the franchise. It is exciting to hear that the series is getting a lot of raves on its early reactions since it is a sign that they delivered what a lot of fans are hoping for and it is another wonderful entry in the franchise. Obviously, these are all subjective so you might have a different opinion than most of the critics once you’ve finally seen the series. We also have to point out that their responses are only based on the first four episodes (or 1/3 of the first season) so they might have a different reaction by the end of the season. However, for now, this is certainly a great indication that the series is going to be a great watch and a return to form after the mixed reactions to the past projects.
