Recently, Marvel Studios had their panel at Brazil’s Comic-Con Experience where producer Kevin Feige and the cast and crew of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania went on stage to showcase the upcoming film to the crowd. They were also treated with exclusive footage that shows the opening minutes of the film. According to Omelete (via The Direct), the footage featured Scott Lang’s life as a celebrity after the events of Avengers: Endgame and his thriving relationship with Hope van Dyne, who is a philanthropist and has been awarded for using Pym Particles in her philanthropy work. The footage closed with Scott reading an excerpt of his book at a library before receiving a call from the San Francisco Penitentiary, which may be related to Cassie’s arrest.

While the new footage that they showed to the CCXP crowd didn’t reveal any spoiler details about the key pivotal moments in the film, it does at the very least give us an idea about where Scott Lang is now after we last saw him in Endgame and it sounds very intriguing so far. It’s interesting to see how it will lead to the main story itself. The film’s synopsis reads: “Superhero partners Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.” The cast includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, Bill Murray, William Jackson Harper, Katy O’Brian, David Dastmalchian, and Randall Park. Peyton Reed returned to direct. Also Read: Agents of SHIELD Star to Make MCU Debut in Ant-Man 3 Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is slated for release in theaters on February 17, 2023.
