Jonathan Majors first appeared as He Who Remains, a Variant of Kang the Conqueror, in the first season of Loki. He is then set to play the original villain in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and Majors told Collider that he doesn’t exactly sweat too much about taking on a multiversal role.

“I would say I grew up in Texas and played around with sports,” Majors said. “The best thing about sports when you’re playing the point guard or the quarterback is, a good quarterback or point guard, they have amnesia.”

He further explained, “They don’t remember the good plays, they don’t remember the bad plays, they just remember they got to play the game. So that’s how I am with these guys. I just play the script. Tell the story. That’s how it goes.”

It’s an interesting way to get into a role and it’s probably the best method for Jonathan Majors considering he could be playing more than just two Variants of Kang the Conqueror. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see Majors in action in the third Ant-Man movie.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will bring back Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne. The film is currently scheduled for release on February 17, 2023.
