According to The Illuminerdi, Better Call Saul and Nobody star Bob Odenkirk is currently in talks to join Wonder Man for a special role. While they didn’t provide any specific details regarding the character that he might play, they speculated that it could be Simon Williams’ agent Neal Saroyan. We do have to take note that this news has not been confirmed yet by Marvel nor reported by the major trades so we have to take it with a grain of salt for now. However, the outlet has reported numerous accurate scoops in the past so we have to at least take this information into serious consideration.

If Odenkirk does end up being cast in the series, he will be the third actor attached to the project joining Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley, who was already confirmed to reprise his role of Trevor Slattery in the series a few months ago. Andrew Guest will serve as the head writer of the series. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton will also executive produce and potentially helm a couple of episodes (depending on the schedule since he’ll also direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty). It is exciting to hear the possibility that Odenkirk is going to join the MCU since he is a wonderful actor in both drama and comedy. As proven by his role in Nobody, he can also do action roles so we can also see him play a character that will get involved in action sequences. Let’s just wait and see whether this casting ends up becoming official.
