In a recent interview with Jake’s Takes, Johnson brings up the fans hoping to see Black Adam face off with Henry Cavill’s Superman, given the rumors circulating of the plot possibility and that both are the most powerful characters in the DC Universe. Johnson avoids talking about the aforementioned cameo rumors, but he does subtly criticize Warner Bros. for ‘sidelining’ the Man of Steel. Read his comment below:

We have yet to find out specific plot details for the Black Adam premiere as its promotional footage is leaning towards more on anticipated action scenes and other debuting characters. But given the general film synopsis of Black Adam being ‘bestowed the almighty power of gods’ and ‘gone from man to myth to legend’, it’s not far-fetched to say that Superman joining the film would make things more intense seeing as the two of them share something in common.

Warner Bros. has yet to state their take on bringing back Cavill’s Superman, but hopefully, his rumored Black Adam appearance would garner some attention and come true.

It would be interesting to see Superman be brought back through Black Adam, allowing more cameos and interconnectivity between the characters in the DC universe.
