To be fair, both Gunn and Safran have already showcased what they can bring to the table but it turns out that not everyone in the DC Universe fandom is pleased with the idea of them overseeing future projects for both film and television. In fact, fans of Justice League director Zack Snyder believe that the former DCEU director is more capable and deserving of the executive role.Following WB Discovery’s monumental announcement, Snyder’s fans quickly stormed social media and made the hashtag #BoycottDC a hot trending topic on Twitter. In case you weren’t aware, the hate for Gunn all started when Peacemaker’s Season 1 finale included a long-standing joke about Aquaman’s sexual life.
