Aside from Tweet reminders about the next chapter’s upcoming release, fans have also been celebrating fan art. Aside from trending within the movies & TV section, the manga also reached the top Twitter trends in Japan. As of this article’s writing, the Chainsaw Man tag has over 9,000 Tweets in Japan and counting. In case you’re unfamiliar, Chainsaw Man Part 2 is the continuation of the manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The first part of the manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020. While the first part had a fairly satisfying conclusion, its story was still open for continuation. Soon after the release of Part 1’s final chapter, Chainsaw Man Part 2 was announced. Unlike Part 1, the second part of Chainsaw Man will serialize in the Shonen Jump+ online magazine. Chainsaw Man is undoubtedly one of Shonen Jump’s biggest recent hits. Not only has the manga sold over 13 million copies since its release, but the series also received numerous awards, including the Shogakukan Manga Award for Shonen manga.
