The manga’s latest volume hasn’t been revealed yet on official channels, though many manga insiders have already shared what the cover looks like online. Given this, it’s likely that an official reveal will come soon, especially as there are more than enough chapters out for a new volume release. Spoiler Warning: There are Chainsaw Man manga spoilers in this article.

Chainsaw Man Volume Covers

For the volume releases, series creator Tatsuki Fujimoto draws special cover art for each release, with most covers following a similar style that features just one character. Though there are some exceptions such as Volume 5 which features Chainsaw Man and Katana Man fighting. There’s also Volume 9 which features a young Aki Hayakawa and the Angel Devil. Despite kicking off Part 2 back in July, this new part’s first volume release did not stray from the series’ cover style. Chainsaw Man Volume 12 features a similar art style and coloring to the previous volume covers. It also features only one character in Asa Mitaka, albeit taken over by Yoru the War Devil. Given this volume’s design, many fans expected the 13th volume to also feature just one character. Yuko was a prime candidate as the recent arc heavily featured her as one of the few new principal characters. ALSO READ: Chainsaw Man Part 2 Release Schedule: When Do New Chapters Come Out?

Yuko Graces the Next Cover

So far, most of Part 2 takes place from the point of view of Asa, the new host of the War Devil who is on a quest to turn Chainsaw Man into a weapon. In her quest, Asa/Yoru encounters Yuko who quickly befriends her. Much like Asa, Yuko also doesn’t have any friends at school. Soon, Yuko enters a contract with the Justice Devil in the guise of helping Asa with the bullies at school. Yuko’s plan did not go well as Asa and Denji prevented her from wreaking too much havoc at school. And while Yuko is permanently disfigured during those events, she departs while promising Asa that they’ll meet once again. From the looks of it though, that won’t happen as Yuko’s status is unclear following an attack by what seems to be a fake Chainsaw Man. If that was indeed Yuko’s last appearance, the events are par for the course of Chainsaw Man as no character is safe in the series. At least, fans have something to remember her by in the next volume cover. Right now though, there’s no word yet on when Chainsaw Man Volume 13 and its cover will be officially revealed.
