Soffer was promoted into a series regular in 2014. According to TV Insider, the actor is currently filming Chicago P.D. Season 10, but there are no words yet on how and when he will leave the series. However, there are assumptions that his final episode will be seen sometime this fall. There are also theories that a dramatic death scene may be featured for some good ratings. If it happens, possible guest appearances may happen and close the door on the Upstead couple for good.
