Speaking on Men’s Journal, while promoting his new upcoming Disney+ show, Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, the actor shares how playing the God of Thunder for more than a decade impacted him in his life. He poses a number of questions that he would ask himself every night, why those would keep him from getting a good night’s rest. Read his full comment below:

Given that he was unknowingly going to make TV history as the God of thunder in Kenneth Branagh’s 2011 Thor film, the pressure he had been feeling was understandable.

After losing Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and Steve Rogers in the canon Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s only Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner who get to continue the legacy from the original Avengers. Although it is questionable how and when his character will be exiting from the MCU once Hemsworth decides he needs to leave, we could speculate he is still set to appear in Loki season 2, perhaps? Or in future Marvel projects that would need the God of Thunder’s help.

For now, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor isn’t going anywhere.
