The official website for the anime series confirmed the release date with a new artwork that features characters from the Night City:
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners follows David, a street kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future known as Night City. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner – a mercenary outlaw also known as cyberpunk - after he meets a mysterious hacker named Lucy. He will be fighting Night City’s most notorious criminals and cyber-psychos in his mission to become a so-called legend. Voice actor David Martinez will be leading the series for the English dub. The anime series was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, Promare) along with creative director Hiromi Wakabayashi (Kill la Kill), with character designs by Yoh Yoshinari (BNA: Brand New Animal, Little Witch Academia) and an original score composed by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill series).
