Rumors before the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness included that of Daniel Craig making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the sequel as Balder the Brave and months after the release of the film, Daniel Craig finally speaks up on the issue. In an interview with Comicbook.com for his upcoming movie, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Daniel Craig was asked about his alleged casting as Balder the Brave in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and all he could say was, “I should be so lucky.” It turns out that the rumors weren’t true as there was no showing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness about anything relating to Balder the Brave and while there are still a lot of Marvel Cinematic Universe movies about to arrive, there is still no confirmation as regards the casting of Craig.

Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as Detective Beniot Blanc in the upcoming Rian Johnson sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, where he will investigate a new mystery about a death during a billionaire’s treat to an island. Balder the Brave comes from the Marvel comics as a deity based on Baldr from the Norse Mythology, one of the gods from Asgard, and the half-brother of Thor, another son of Odin yet to debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Balder the Brave is known as the fastest and most agile Asgardian warrior. To date, there has been no confirmation yet whether Balder the Brave would soon join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daniel Craig’s next appearance would be on Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery releasing in theaters on November 23, 2022, and on Netflix on December 23, 2022.
