Speaking recently with Collider, Harbour teased that Thunderbolts will bring forth new things in the MCU. He also revealed that the film might advance his relationship with one of his daughters, Yelena Belovo, portrayed by Florence Pugh.

“One of the things you’ll probably know is that the me and Florence dynamic will be in there and explored in a way that’s really cool.” professed the actor.

The Violent Night actor noted that the MCU has always been one step ahead of its game, which made him rather piqued by the story’s premise.

“MCU has always been sort of elevated in a certain way. Captain America, even Iron Man, although he has egos, are always in it for the right reasons or ultimately does the right thing.” declared Harbour.

Despite not seeing the entire script yet, the Stranger Things actor promised that the film will drop some bombs that will make it more interesting.

He guaranteed, “It’ll be funny. it’ll be weird, it’ll be action. And then we’re also going to drop a bomb, which is cool.”

Harbour’s Red Guardian and Yelena were introduced as members of Natasha Romanoff’s dysfunctional Russian family.

Yelena, who was last seen in the Disney+ series Hawkeye, made her way into the category of beloved MCU characters who have a complicated relationship with their parents.

Thunderbolts will feature a star-studded cast, including Sebastian Stan as the fan-favorite Winter Soldier, Wyatt Russell as the US Agent, Olga Kurylenko as the Taskmaster, Hannah-John Kamen as the Ghost, and Harrison Ford taking over the role of General Thaddeus E. Eisenhower.

Thunderbolts leans toward a July 26, 2024, theatrical release. Also Read: Thunderbolts Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer, and Everything We Need To Know About the Marvel Movie
