Specifically, the voice cast was revealed in the recent preview video for the anime and highlighted on Twitter. Among the main cast of the show is Natsuki Hanae who voices Elan Keres. While there’s not much info yet on the character, it’s confirmed that Elan Keres is the leader of the Dormitory. In case you’re unfamiliar, Hanae is a renowned voice actor who is best known for voicing Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Aside from voicing Tanjiro, Hanae is also known for voicing other popular characters, including Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyuu!!, Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, Takumi Aldini in Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma, and Odokawa in Odd Taxi. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is an upcoming anime by Sunrise that’s directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi, the director of Kiznaiver. Joining him as part of the staff is series composer Ichiro Okouchi, the co-creator of Code Geass. The Witch from Mercury is the first TV anime in the series in seven years following Iron-Blooded Orphans which was released back in 2015. The series is also significant in the Gundam franchise for being the first to feature a female protagonist in Suletta Mercury. As for its story, the series’ premise is described on the official website as: Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury will be released on October 2, 2022, and it will air in Japan every Sunday at 5 PM JST.
