Morgan is a fully grown teenager and Giselle is trying to lighten up the mood between them by reminding her step-daughter of the times, back when Morgan was in complete awe at how princess-like Giselle was when they first met.

However, the clip shows full proof of how very much alike the father-daughter are, with Morgan reacting to Giselle right before she could even sing. Morgan is seen saying, “Oh, no. Please we really don’t need to…sing.”

In an attempt to prevent herself from getting embarrassed by yet another musical number to solve their problem temporarily, Morgan ends up following her step-mother’s footsteps, or, er, dance steps.

Does this scene ring any bell? It perfectly lines up similarly to how Giselle began singing the ‘Happy Working Song’ in the first film, but with the message implying the same thing with ‘That’s How You Know.’

Clearly, we’re to expect no less from Amy Adams’ broadway talents with her new dance steps and ever-enchanting voice.

Seeing as the plot details of Disenchanted are still being kept under wraps, its film synopsis description is as written: ‘Years after her happily ever after, Giselle, Robert and Morgan move to a new community and Andalasia and the real world are thrown off-balance.’ You can watch the trailer below:

Disenchanted starts streaming on November 18, 2022 on Disney+.
