Fans are particularly ecstatic over the latest MCU casting news because it could potentially lead to Plaza’s on-screen reunion with Wanda Maximoff actress Elizabeth Olsen. In case you weren’t aware, there’s no shortage of history between Olsen and Plaza, who worked on the 2017 film Ingrid Goes West, which interestingly also featured another MCU star in Wyatt Russell. While that marked the only time the two actresses shared a project together, they’ve remained good friends in real life and their oftentimes “chaotic” relationship has endeared many. For the longest time, fans have been demanding to see them again in a project and while the Scarlet Witch’s status remains unclear, Plaza being the MCU is definitely a huge step.
