Rumor has it that Bale is being considered for a role in the Star Wars universe. According to a new report from the folks over at Giant Freakin Robot, the star of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy is Lucasfilm’s current pick to play the live-action version of legendary character Galen Marek aka Starkiller. Considered by many as one of the franchise’s best characters, Starkiller instantly clicked with fans after debuting in the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game. Personally speaking, I feel like Bale is a little too old to be playing Starkiller and I’d much rather see him take on a different role. Besides, we already have the best choice for Galen Marek and it’s definitely Sam Witwer who performed the character’s voice in the video games.
