With the Avengers franchise having the reputation for going hot with its list of cast members from the MCU, along with the utilization of the multiverse’s existence, it would be no surprise if we ever do get to see these two new returnees working on the same team soon.

According to insider @MyTimeToShineH on Twitter, Wolverine and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man will not only be joining Avengers 6, but will also “meet and fight alongside each other in Secret Wars.” Check out their tweet below:
It would be incredibly satisfying that we will once again get to experience another remarkably ambitious project happening, similar to how Avengers: Endgame played out, and seeing how there is also a rising group of “New Avengers” set to group up in Phase 5, there’s even a bigger responsibility that comes with the hype behind Avengers 6.
Previously, though, Jackman had addressed his future MCU involvement and with this, the Wolverine star could only say he treats every project as a “one-and-done” in which, “I just take it one at a time. I’m lucky in that way, I don’t have to think beyond that, but I think it’s the best way to go.”
We’ll be sure to keep you updated should any new information come up. In the meantime, we can expect Hugh Jackman to reprise his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, which is slated for release on November 8, 2024.
