Is Carnival Row Season 2 the last season?
On Nov. 9, 2022, Prime Video confirmed that Carnival Row Season 2 will be the last season. This confirmation was revealed in the first teaser that features Philo and Vignette.
It was previously reported that Carnival Row Season 2 will likely be the last. The update comes from Midgard Times, who talked to a few people in Prague and inside the show, and they all shared the same thing. According to the publication, sets have been pulled down, and it looks like the plan was to wrap the fantasy series with the second season. In September 2021, Orlando Bloom took it to Instagram to share a heartfelt message as he says farewell to his role.
“Love my job. As actors we get to go on these remarkable journeys with our characters,” Bloom wrote on Instagram. It’s not clear if Prime Video originally planned Carnival Row as a two-season storyline. It’s possible that during the pandemic, the writers feared that the story wouldn’t get a chance to get a proper ending, so took it upon themselves to come up with a conclusion. According to Prime Video’s November 2022 schedule for upcoming films and TV shows, Carnival Row Season 2 is not coming in this month. The second season is likely going through post-production work.
