Gunn has proven how in touch he is with the fandom and it turns out, they want to see one particular hero join the DCU sooner rather than later. On Twitter, the Marvel and DC director revealed that Booster Gold was the most requested character fans wanted to see debut in the new DCU, something that he admittedly found “fascinating”. He wrote: “Interestingly, Booster was the MOST requested character when I asked people on Mastodon what character they’d most like to see on screen. I’m not creating stories by public vote, but I found it fascinating nevertheless.”
