In a recent interview with Associated Press, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star Jason Momoa teased that the upcoming sequel might actually feature multiple versions of Batman with both Affleck and Keaton although he didn’t give out any more details beyond what he hinted.

“Well, I can’t tell you anything about the reunion. [Ben Affleck] may or may not be in it. There could be more or less or even more Batmans in it. Who knows? You will only know a little bit,” Momoa said.

It is hard to tell whether Momoa was actually just playing along with his comment or he is actually teasing that it will happen in the film. Either way, it is a confirmation that an iteration of Batman will show up whether it’s Affleck, Keaton, or both.

As most fans have speculated when Affleck’s casting in the sequel was reported, there is a chance that the character will only show up for a cameo and potentially in a post-credits scene that might set up their next team-up in a future DCEU project.

Nevertheless, it is already exciting to hear the possibility that the upcoming sequel will have another beloved DC hero with at least one iteration of Batman. If it does end up having both, it will be the second time that it will happen after The Flash where both are confirmed to appear.
