In addition, Wednesday itself also received a nomination in the top category, Best Musical or Comedy Series. It is competing against other beloved shows such as Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, and Only Murders in the Building. This is also Netflix’s only nomination in this category. This is certainly an achievement for the series considering that it’s only been available on Netflix for a few weeks. However, with the show overperforming in the ratings, it shouldn’t also be surprising to see the series show up here and it would be interesting to see if more awards-giving bodies will also shower it with nominations.
