This time last year, Hawkeye started airing on Disney Plus and it brings the holiday season into a Christmas mayhem that Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton faced with Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop. The series showed how Hawkeye makes his own weapons, refurbishing old ones, and he even adopted a dog. To celebrate the holiday season and the first year of Hawkeye’s release, Jeremy Renner posts the perfect holiday card with him as Clint Barton in his workshop filled with Christmas stuff, and there’s Lucky the Pizza Dog, too, assisting him as he makes arrows. Throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hawkeye has been the heart and soul of the Avengers that, whilst having no super powers like Thor or Hulk, he is the glue that keeps the team together. At a point, he, kind of, retired, and everything went ballistic.

Jeremy Renner gave life to Hawkeye and while he may seem like an assassin whose skills go above and beyond, the MCU narrative showed how human he is, especially introducing his family who lives somewhere in the middle of nowhere, and showing his grief when he lost them. Whether Jeremy Renner will return as Hawkeye in the MCU still remains a question as, to date, he still hasn’t confirmed when he will be back on screen as one of the most skilled marksmen on Earth. There’s Kate Bishop, too, another archer who could, with more focus and training, be an equal of Hawkeye. What’s interesting from Hawkeye is also the reveal of Laura Barton as a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and that could play a part on Clint Barton’s MCU return should he be back for more action.
