With three different versions over the years, each version of Spider-Man has their fair share of trouble with multiple villains and much recently, all these villains got together facing all three of iterations of Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

For Marvel’s big boss, Kevin Feige, he has his own favorite villain from Spider-Man, in fact, he has his top three shared in an interview printed at the back of The Amazing Spider-Man Issue 900 shared on Reddit.

In the said interview, Kevin Feige shared that his top three Spider-Man villains are Doc Ock, Mysterio, and Vulture, “That’s hard. I mean, of course I’m going to think of the ones that we’ve worked on in the movies. Doc Ock, for sure. Mysterio, both in the comics and the movies, is such a crazy, unique, specific character.”

Feige added that it could’ve been Goblin but Vulture weighs more for him, “I could easily say a Goblin, but I’m going to say Vulture. Like my hero Paste-Pot Pete, I appreciate people who aren’t billionaires and test scientific things on themselves. People who are grinding and figuring it out.”

Feige further explained why Vulture is his third choice, “Michael Keaton played him in Homecoming. He thinks this world is nuts—all these people flying around and doing all these things just because they’re rich or they’re gods or aliens… I’m going to take their scraps and do it myself.”

Doc Ock or Doctor Otto Octavius from Spider-Man 2 played by Alfred Molina has been an iconic portrayal that over the years, he cemented his position as one of the best showcases of a villain from the comics. His conflicted perspectives plus the portrayal of Molina surely made it possible.

As for Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio from Spider-Man: Far From Home, his take on the character is fresh and unique compared to the comics and it is easily one of the most effective portrayals of a villain in the movie because Mysterio really got to everyone’s nerves in the movie and even after!

Michael Keaton’s Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming made everyone’s hair on the neck stand with the fact about him being Liz’s father who made money from getting alien technology of the Chitauris.

There were other Spider-Man villains such as Electro, Sandman, The Lizard, Goblin, Venom, and the New Goblin but with Kevin Feige himself picking his own favorites, one may or may not agree with his perspective but surely, he knows what’s best for the franchise.
