Amid several petitions to recast T’Challa, Marvel Studios guaranteed that they wouldn’t cast another actor in the role, but would instead nod to Boseman’s passing while resuming the story of Wakanda.In a recent interview with THR at SDCC, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Lupita Nyong’o opens up about the ’therapeutic’ experience filming the sequel. The Oscar-nominee actress also teased that the sequel will blow everyone’s minds, and she cannot wait until the film’s mysteries get unraveled.“To make this film against all odds is a powerful statement unto itself, and I am very proud that we did it," she said. “It was very therapeutic. It restored a sense of hope for me in making it, and I think we’ve expanded the world of Wakanda in ways that will blow people’s minds — not just Wakanda, but the Black Panther world. It’s gonna blow people’s minds, and I just cannot wait until it’s not a secret anymore.”Several stars have spoken about the Black Panther sequel, and even Angela Bassett – who plays Queen Ramona in the film teased that the sequel is “going to top [the first] one.” But most of them asserted that the film truly honors Boseman and would acknowledge his death in the film.However, the question that all the fans are pondering is, who’s the next Black Panther?
