It was previously speculated that Fuhrmann had to be recast because she wanted to focus on college but it turns out that it was Marvel Studios’ decision to let go of the actress. What’s even more dispairing is the fact that Emma apparently found out about it on the day the studio made the casting announcement.Now, it may have been two years since Kathryn burst into the scene but it’s quite evident that some fans have yet to warm up to the Freaky star. Following the release of Quantumania’s “astonishing” (get it?) trailer, fans took to Twitter to express their dismay over Fuhrmann’s recasting.
