As for the song, it is simply entitled “1.” This title is interesting as the opening for the first two seasons are entitled “99” and “99.99” respectively. The new opening song title is an interesting change, and it seemingly marks the end of the journey. Aside from the opening, Mob Choir will also perform the show’s ending song which is entitled “Cobalt.” While we’ve yet to hear the show’s ending theme, it was revealed that the single for “1” will release on the same day as the third season’s premiere.
Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Release Date
Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 is expected to be the last season of the show based on the remaining chapters that have yet to be adapted. In case you’re unfamiliar, Mob Psycho 100 is an anime series by studio Bones and is based on the manga of the same name by One. The manga was serialized in Ura Sunday Comics from April 2012 to December 2017. The series follows the story of Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, an unassuming middle-school student who is secretly a powerful esper. To keep his power in check, Mob suppresses his emotions. While Mob simply wants to live a normal life, his powers threaten to surface when his emotions get heightened, especially when he encounters other espers. Thankfully, he has friends that have his back, including the likes of Reigen. Mob Psycho 100 will release on October 5, 2022. In Japan, the series will air every week on TV Tokyo. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the series shortly after each episode’s Japanese broadcast.
