What Is More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers About?

Based on Yuuki Kanamaru’s original manga, More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers revolves around a third-year high school student named Jirou Yakuin. Jirou hoped that he would be partnered with Shiori Sakurazaka in the compulsory Couple Practical class. In this practical course, the students have to demonstrate that they possess the essential skills to live with a partner. The couples are videotaped and graded on various parameters like harmony. However, instead of Shiori, Jirou is paired with the gyaru Akari Watanabe, who is the polar opposite of Jirou. On her part, Akari had hoped that she could pair up with her crush, Minami Tenjin. After their hopes were shattered, Jirou and Akari decide to give their best and reach the top 10. If they manage to get high scores, they will have the right to choose their partners.
