About My Hero Academia Season 6

My Hero Academia is an anime series by studio Bones that’s based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi. It began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014, and it has since become one of the magazine’s bestselling titles. Meanwhile, the anime series began with the 13-episode first season back in April 2016. As the show became popular, it was renewed for more seasons, with each new season having 25 episodes each. Season 6 is the newest, and it is one that fans are highly anticipating. After all, the sixth season adapts the Paranormal Liberation War Arc of the manga which is one of the series’ biggest in terms of scale and importance. This is because the arc will feature an all-out war between the Pro Heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front led by Tomura Shigaraki and the League of Villains. This event was set up in the events of the previous season. While the first two episodes show the initial stages of the fight, they already featured big fight scenes highlighting fan-favorite Mirko aka Rumi Usagiyama. Though aside from the No. 5 Pro Hero, it was Class 1-A’s Denki Kaminari that shone brightly in Episode 2.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 2 Denki Kaminari Highlight

Unlike some of his other classmates who are in the backlines, Denki Kaminari was put in the vanguard, which means he is among the Pro Heroes who will spearhead the charge against the Paranormal Liberation Front. This is because his power is key against an enemy commander. Specifically, this commander can cast a net that discharges electricity, but Denki is able to absorb this, leaving the Pro Heroes free to attack. Aside from cheering for this moment, there were also a lot of fans who shared their excitement about the Denki x Jiro ship, especially as Denki thought of Jiro and the others in their attack. My Hero Academia Season 6 began airing on October 1, 2022, in Japan. This was followed by an international release on Crunchyroll. The show’s next episode will premiere tomorrow, October 15, 2022.
