Produced by Universal Television, the ten-episode series was created by by Vanessa Ramos (Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), David Caspe (Happy Endings, Black Monday) and Jackie Clarke (Superstore, Happy Endings) also serving as writers/executive producers. Blockbuster stars Fresh Off the Boat’s Randall Park and Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Melissa Fumero among other cast members. Netflix confirmed that Blockbuster will be released on November 3, 2022.
