Nope premiered on June 22, 2022, exactly one year after Jordan Peele tweeted about his new endeavor. The release date is the only definitive information we have about Nope, and the date was first released through the movie poster. Nope’s poster featured a single massive cloud looming over a small town with its lights turned off. The only other details included in the poster are the names of the three actors starring in the film and Peele’s name as the director.
Nope Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the New Peele Movie?
The cast of Nope will be led by Daniel Kaluuya. Kaluuya and Peele previously worked before in Get Out; another social horror film created and directed by Jordan Peele. Kaluuya became a break-out star in Get Out, for which he nominated for prestigious awards and received critical acclaim. Kaluuya will be joined by Keke Palmer as one of the main protagonists. This will be Palmer’s first time acting in a horror film for she usually focuses on more comedic parts. This will not be the first time Peele and Palmer will be working together, though, because Palmer made a guest appearance in Peele’s 2013 sketch series, Key and Peele. Steven Yuen will also part of Nope. Yuen joins the horror film after his successful run for the movie Minari.
