Riordan has actually previously confirmed that while the Percy Jackson reboot is still in development, they do plan to allot one season per book in the series. The reboot will also be starring Jessica Parker as Medusa, Virginia Krull as Sally Jackson (Percy’s mother), Suzanne Cryer as Echidna, Megan Mullally as Ms. Dodds/Alecto, Timm Sharp as Gabe Ugliano (Percy’s stepfather), Olivea Morton as Nancy Bobofit, Ryan Cowie as the “chaperone”, Glynn Turman as Chiron/Mr. Brunner, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Jay Duplass as Hades, Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, Adam “Edge” Copeland as Ares, Timothy Omundsen as Hephaestus, and Jason Mantzoukas as Mr. D / Dionysus.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV series is expected to arrive on Disney+ sometime in 2024.
