Sadly, Alcock wouldn’t stay in the series for very long and Emma D’Arcy will soon take over to portray a grown-up version of Rhaeynra. With that said, it’s hard not to wonder where we will see the young actress again.
In a recent interview with Nylon, Rhaenyra Targaryen actress Milly Alcock was asked about her next move after House of the Dragon. Admitting uncertainty about her career, she said that she’s no longer interested in starring in another big franchise and wants to focus on something “very intimate and personal.” See her full quote below:
Milly Alcock may be uncertain about her career, but after witnessing her outstanding portrayal of Rhaenyra, there’s no doubt that there are more exciting things ahead of her. With the time jump nearly approaching the series and Alcock will officially bid goodbye to the character, D’Arcy certainly has big shoes to fill.
