She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s first episode unquestionably defied all the expectations. Featuring Tatiana Maslany as the titular heroine, the first episode already saw Mark Ruffalo’s long-awaited return as Bruce Banner since his last appearance in Avengers: Endgame, with a jaw-dropping first look at Jameela Jamil as Titania, the main antagonist of the show.

What made Titania’s first appearance intriguing is that there was no origin story or no mention at all regarding the villain. While Jennifer Walters was in the courtroom, Titania effortlessly broke a wall and disrupted Walters’ prepped speech, resulting in the first-ever showdown between She-Hulk and Titania. Although Titania displayed superhuman strength just like She-Hulk, the titular heroine still outpowered her, which settles the debate that She-Hulk is indeed more powerful than Titania. Knowing that Jameela Jamil’s Titania is the show’s main villain, this sequence seems odd, and fans are certainly expecting more of the character. In a recent interview with Collider, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law showrunner Jessica Gao might have spoiled Titania’s future. Despite the appearance in the first episode, Gao revealed that Titania won’t be a major antagonist until Episode 5. See Gao’s full quote below:

It’s good to know that She-Hulk is sticking to the source material. Just like what Gao said, Titania isn’t really a prominent villain in Marvel Comics, instead, she just pesters Walters in any chance she gets.

Will There Be She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 2?

In the same interview, Gao was asked about the possibility of doing a She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 2, in which she candidly admitted:

Nonetheless, she went on to defend her answer, revealing that she originally had ideas that could be explored in a potential second season. She concluded:

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now streaming on Disney+.
