With Sony releasing the new and official first trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the studio pays Stan Lee with an endearing tribute. You can check out the trailer below:

If you watched the trailer, we do not only see Miles battling the numerous variants of Spider-Men, but we also get to see Miles having a deep heart-to-heart talk with his mother Rio on a rooftop of some sort. While Miles’ mother was giving him a pep talk about the responsibilities he has to deal with as a growing man, we see a montage of what the character had previously been through in the first film.
Sony paid an endearing tribute for Marvel Creator Stan Lee by still featuring him in the montage, perhaps also as a way of sending word to him beyond the grave that his MCU continues to make an impact in the world. We see Stan Lee giving Miles a smile as he handed over the newly bought Spider-Man outfit, and fans took to Twitter their reactions upon seeing his face again.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse may have faced multiple delays over the last couple of years, but it seems Miles Morales’ sequel is on its way to hit cinemas. With that, are you excited to see Miles on another web-slinging adventure?
