But that hasn’t stopped fans from picking their bets and coming up with their own MCU X-Men teams, and honestly, some of the fan castings that have surfaced all over the internet are actually pretty good. Most of us are already aware of the Taron Egerton and Giancarlo Esposito dream castings, but one actor has apparently also been on the fans’ radar for quite some time now.It turns out that Star Wars and Star Trek actor Jason Isaacs is among the fan favorites to play Magneto in the franchise and frankly, I can totally see him as Erik Lensherr. Even Instagram artist @spdrmnkyxxiii seems to be on board with the idea as he recently came up with an amazing artwork depicting Isaacs as the founder of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
