Banks has been gone from WWE for a number of months now although speculation is high on her impending return to the ring. However, it looks like the multi-time WWE Women’s champion is dropping her in-ring moniker to use her real name moving forward. On Twitter, the 30-year-old star changed her username from @SashaBanksWWE to Mercedes Varnado, the same name she used when she starred in The Mandalorian. To those unaware, Banks and her tag team championship partner Triniti Fatu aka Naomi walked out on the company last May due to issues with their creative booking. Since their shocking departure, the duo has been spotted attending red carpet events, most recently the world premiere for Star Wars: Andor.
