Well, it turns out that none of the rumors were actually true as Cavill no-showed the SDCC panel. During the Black Adam presentation, Johnson dashed the fandom’s collective hopes when it turned out that he himself isn’t sure which Superman the Man in Black will end up going head-to-head with.
