What is interesting about Vermeil is that she is easy-going yet very straightforward and bold. She will do whatever she wants whenever she wants it, like kissing Alto in public. Personal space and modesty are not part of her vocabulary, and she has no issues with nudity. Indeed, Vermeil’s entertaining personality has captured the viewers’ attention, aside from her body and beauty.
Who is Vermeil?
Vermeil is popular for her tall and curvaceous physique. She has shoulder-length violet hair with horns, fangs, pointy ears, and a tail. She can make herself look like a human by erasing her demon features. She also has a demon form, wherein she has black wings, goat legs, tails, claws, and fangs. Her face is distorted and she can grow larger than average. Before she was sealed in the book, she was considered as the strongest calamity in the world. As a child, she lived in an orphanage with three other orphan kids. Only the nun, who could be the person who named her Vermeil, took care of them knew that she was a demon and kept it as a secret. Her secret was exposed while they were playing and she got bullied. The citizens then demanded that she be banished from the city and the demands increased after a plague broke and it was blamed on her. All Vermeil did was run away whenever someone discovered her true identity. That’s when she decided that it would be better if she was sealed away.
Vermeil’s Height, Age, Voice Actor Revealed
Considering that Vermeil has been locked up in the book for centuries, it wasn’t surprising that she is already more than 550 years old. Unfortunately, no information has been provided about her height at the moment. She is voiced by Maaya Uchida for the Japanese version. The English dub cast has not been announced for now but what we do know is that the Vermeil in Gold English dubbed version will be released in Fall 2022. Western audiences can expect the episodes to be released on HIDIVE as well considering that the global platform is exclusively streaming Vermeil in Gold.
