In the Lycoris Recoil anime, the main characters are based in LycoReco, a café serving traditional Japanese sweets and drinks. And while fans can’t exactly visit this cozy café, the virtual LycoReco is the next best thing. One of the main highlights of the virtual café is the trouble consultation section. Here, fans can discuss their concerns and worries with the LycoReco staff. Some lucky fans will then get their concerns posted on the site with helpful answers from the crew. Currently, nine concerns have been answered by Chisato, Takina, Mizuki, Mika, and even the hacker Walnut. One such concern is from Nene who shares how she gets nervous when talking with people. Chisato answered her with some tips and words of encouragement. The virtual café also features a stamp-collecting activity. Much like cafes that have stamp cards, patrons of LycoReco can collect stamps. But instead of ordering food or drinks, fans must participate in missions through Twitter. Each mission will award fans one stamp, and by collecting stamps, they can receive special voice messages from the LycoReco staff. Patrons can collect up to 120 stamps, with a voice message being sent with every tenth stamp. For the first 10 stamps, patrons will get a voice message from Chisato. With 20, a Takina voice clip will be sent. Lycoris Recoil is an anime by A-1 Pictures, and it is an original series, meaning it isn’t based on a manga or a light novel like typical TV anime. The series features “Lycoris” agents – all female assassins and spies working to take down terrorists and criminals in Japan. The story follows Takina, a “Lycoris” agent who disobeys direct orders and is demoted. Takina is assigned to work under Chisato, an unusual yet highly capable Lycoris agent who works undercover in the LycoReco café. Catch new episodes of the anime every week on Crunchyroll.
