To be fair, the 2017 film earned $657 million at the global box office but that just wasn’t enough to impress the studio.Instead of putting the blame on Joss Whedon who pretty much added his own flair to the film, WB reportedly thought about removing Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck from the equation and recasting new Superman and Batman actors.
