What Are Orognium Demons in Engage Kiss?
Orognium demons are considered Bayron City’s most dangerous demons. They reside in the mine, hence their name. Not much has been explained about them, including their origins or abilities. But what we do know is that Orognium demons seemed to be upset that the humans were exploiting their territory. Twelve years ago, Shu’s family visited an Orognium mine. The mine is in charge of providing a clean energy source for Bayron City, and most families visit it as a tourist attraction. However, Ogata Isamu, Shu’s father, got into an accident in the said mine. He and his wife died in the disaster, while Shu’s sister went missing and was assumed to be dead. There were theories that it was the Orognium demons who attacked and started the incident, killing everyone in the mine that day except for Shu, who was the only one able to survive. There were also theories that the demons took Kanna, Shu’s sister, to lure him back and kill him. On the other hand, some believe that the demons want Shu to side with them and stop the corruption of the mine. Engage Kiss might not just be a typical fantasy and action series wherein the protagonists kill demons. It might hint at something more related to the environment. However, take note that these are just speculations. We still don’t know the main objectives of the Orognium demons. Whether they are actually concerned about their territory or are simply human-killing beasts is yet to be known, so viewers will have to watch Engage Kiss to find out.
