When Is the Barbie Movie Coming Out?
Early this year, set photos revealed Robbie and Gosling in costume while they filmed scenes for the movie. The photos showed the two actors donning blonde hair, a fake tan, and lots of pink and neons. The movie will be released in theaters on July 21, 2023.
What Is Barbie Movie Plot About?
As of this writing, there’s no word on what the story of the film will be about. Robbie told The Hollywood Reporter: “We like the things that feel a little left of centre. Something like Barbie where the IP, the name itself, people immediately have an idea of, ‘Oh, Margot is playing Barbie, I know what that is,’ but our goal is to be like, ‘Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different — the thing you didn’t know you wanted.’”
