Unfortunately for Kobeni, she became entangled in the Chainsaw Man Monster’s onslaught. The Chainsaw Man eventually forced her to accompany him as his temporary girlfriend. She even danced while Chainsaw Man watched in agony. When Denji reverts to his human form, they both express their concerns to one another while Kishibe listens in the background.

Denji even turned down Makima’s offer to accompany her on vacation to care for the traumatized Power. Denji bathed, fed, and slept beside Power to the best of his ability to comfort her.
