In a nutshell, Lou is the name of an older woman who has a mysterious past. When her neighbor’s daughter goes missing, Lou uses here tracking skills to hunt down the estranged husband who took the daughter. The movie takes us on a quest to uncover Lou’s former career and her connection to the man who abducted the girl.

As of this writing, there is no word from Netflix regarding a sequel to Lou. Like other films and shows, its decision to renew the show for a part two will likely be based on the film’s ratings and figures. Where Did They Film Lou?

The film was shot in location in Vancouver, Canada, and the rest of British Columbia in the middle of a heatwave. But since the film involved a lot of rainfall in its plot, it helped the actors deal with the heat. One of the scenes that people got interested in was the beach at the end of the film. It was filmed at the Ucluelet Peninsula, which is a municipality in Canada. The Pioneer Boatworks was transformed into a hardware store.
