According to Twitter insider MyTimeToShineHello, the Peacemaker director is pretty much recasting the majority of the old DCU’s cast, except for what’s left of The Suicide Squad and Jason Momoa, who has been rumored to be getting recast from Aquaman to Lobo. The list includes basically every member of the Justice League cast, as well as Zachary Levi’s Shazam! who is set to headline the upcoming sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Also Read: Warner Bros. I must say though, if Levi is in fact getting the boot, you have to feel sorry for the guy because despite the fact that Shazam! wasn’t a commercial hit, it’s still one of the better movies the old DCU has put out.Hopefully, Gunn and Safran really now what they’re doing but by the looks of things, they have a long way to go to win the fandom over, especially the folks who have been there since the beginning.Shazam! Fury of the Gods is slated for theatrical release on March 17, 2023.
